UCEED 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment to be Released on May 19: Steps to Confirm Admission & Pay FeeUCEED 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment: The IIT Bombay will declare the result of Round 2 Seat Allotment for the UCEED 2026 entrance examination for admission into B.Des programmes offered by institutes on May 19, 2026. All the candidates who have undergone the counselling procedure will be able to view their seat allotment status using the official website of the UCEED Admission Portal.
As per the official admission calendar issued by IIT Bombay, those who get seat allotment in Round 2 need to make the full payment for the seat acceptance fee from May 19 to 27, 2026, up to 6 PM. Those who do not make the payment of the acceptance fee within the stipulated period or reject their allotted seat will be disqualified from getting admitted.

UCEED 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment Check Process
Candidates can go through the following process to know their seat allotment result:
- Go to UCEED official admission portal site, www.uceed.iitb.ac.in
- Select the “Seat Allotment Round 2” option
- Login through email address and password
- Know the allotment result of seat and college
- Download the seat allotment letter for further reference
Admission Confirmation Procedure
Those candidates who are happy with the allocated seat should proceed to confirm their admission within the specified deadline using the following procedures:
- Log into the UCEED Admission portal
- Select either Freeze or Float option among the other two options
- Pay the seat acceptance fee
- Get the seat confirmation and receipt of payment form printed
- Keep copies of all documents for further admission formalities

Important Instructions for Candidates
- The candidate must pay the entire seat acceptance fee before the stipulated deadline to secure admission.
- Partial payment of the seat acceptance fee will not be accepted.
- The candidate who selects the “Float” option will continue to be eligible for higher-preferred institutes in future rounds.
- Candidate who selects the “Freeze” option will secure admission in the current allotted institute and will not be eligible for upgradation.
- In case the candidate does not pay the fee during the stipulated time frame, then his/her allotted seat will be automatically cancelled.
- IIT Bombay will organize five rounds of seat allocation for UCEED 2026 admissions.
If the candidates are not happy with the Round 2 allotment, they may go for “Float,” which will make them eligible for an upgrade in the next counselling rounds. The release date for the UCEED 2026 Round 3 seat allotment result is June 10, 2026, and only those candidates who fulfill the necessary admission procedures by the deadline will be considered for the next allotment round.
