How Many Marks Required To Secure First Division in UP Board 12th Result 2023?The division for the students is decided on the basis of the total number of marks or percentage that they have secured in their results. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has already laid forward the UP Board grading system which is followed to award grades to the students who are categorized under different divisions. The UP Board exam assessment is done on the basis of a Continuous And Comprehensive Evaluation Pattern under which the theory exam consists of 70 marks and the practical or internal test consists of 30 marks. The grading system is different for theory and practical exams. According to the division system, there are four divisions. The topmost division is the distinction and then it is followed by the first division.
The maximum number of marks for the UP Board class 12th exams 2023 is 500. Each paper is of hundred marks. In order to pass the UP Board Class 12 exams with first division, a student need to score at least 300 marks out of 500. The students will have to score 33% marks in order to successfully pass the UP board exams 2023. The students who will be failing in any of the subjects will be provided the opportunity to give an improvement exam. Also, after completing Class 12, if students have any doubts or require assistance with career planning, they may try out the Career Compass Test which is basically a test with a few questions, that will help them understand their career paths best.

Marks Required To Secure First Division in UP Board 12th Result 2023

The students who will score 300 to 375 marks will be considered to have got first division. The students who will score more than 375 marks will be considered for the distinction division. The students will be getting their grades and the information about their division released through the scorecard and the passing certificate. The students are requested to obtain their passing certificate from their concerned school authorities in order to check the information about the division that they have been awarded.
