Marks Required to Secure Second Division in UP Board 12th Result 2023
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) released the UP Board 12th Result 2023 on April 25, 2023, in online mode for all three streams. Students, who appeared in the UP Board 12th exam 2023, need to provide their school code and roll number to check UPMSP inter result 2023. As per the CCE pattern, the UP Board class 12 exams 2023 were conducted for 100 marks, wherein 70 marks were allotted for all the theory papers, and the practical and internal tests carried a weightage of 30 marks. Moreover, the grades are awarded separately for practical and theory exams. In order to qualify for the UP Board 12th Exam 2023, students must obtain a minimum of 33% of marks. UP Board 12th Passing Marks 2023
The evaluation process of UP Board 12th Exam 2023 is done on the basis of a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern, according to which:
- The theoretical exams will carry a weight of 70 marks.
- The practical and internal assessments will carry a weightage of 30 marks.
- One has to secure at least 33% of marks to pass the exam.
- Anyone who fails to clear one subject except for Hindi, will be considered pass

Students who will secure more than 375 marks, will pass in distinction division, while those who will secure between 225 and 299 marks, will be considered to be pass in second division category. The Board will issue UP Board 12th marksheet 2023 along with passing certificate where students can find every details regarding their grades and division. Students must collect them within a few days after the declaration of UP Board 12th result 2023.
