UP class 10, 12 board exams are likely to be postponed and will be held in May due to Panchayat election polls. As per the earlier schedule, UP class 10, 12 board exams are to start from 24th April.
Uttar Pradesh class 10, 12 exams 2021 may get postponed due to election poll dates. The dates for panchayat elections are to be announced by this week. According to the UP class 10, 12 schedule 2021 exams are to begin from April 24. However, depending on the election dates, the exams will be postponed to May. CBSE and ICSE board exams are also schedule to take place in May.
The Election Commission will most likley issue a notification for the panchayat elections most likely between 27th and 28th March 2021. As per the previous schedule released by Uttar Pradesh Secondary Board, the board exams were to take place from April 24 onwards in two shifts.
UP class 10 board exams were to be concluded by 10th May and class 12 board exams by 12th May. According to the reports, around 56 lakh students are expected to appear for UP class 10 and 12 board exams 2021.

Divyakant Shukla, UPSMP Secretary, informed that there will be strict invilgiations in the exam centres to avoid cheating and copying cases. Apart from CCTVs, live webcasting will also be intrdouced in the exam centres. The board will also issue COVID-19 guidelines which are to be followed during the exams to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
