The online registration process of UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2018 concluded on March 6, 2018. As a part of next step for finalising the candidates for the preliminary exam, UPSC has released the list of fictitious fee payment cases. The candidature of 124 candidates for the UPSC Civils Prelims Exam 2018 has not yet been confirmed due to the non-payment or non-receipt of fee payment confirmation. The list of fictitious fee payment cases is available on the official website.

UPSC has clearly mentioned in the list that these candidates will not have a chance to appear for civil services examination unless they submit evidence or fee receipt confirming the fee payment for the preliminary examination. March 26, 2018, is the last date for these candidates to submit the valid proof confirming the fee payment.
The candidates who wish to appeal against the rejection will have to submit documentary evidence by hand or speed post. The documentary evidence should include bank account statement if the fee was paid through Internet Banking/ debit card/ credit card or a copy of debit/ credit card statement or original pay in slip if the cash is deposited in the branch of State Bank of India (SBI). If the bank statement is being submitted as documentary evidence, it should be duly authenticated by the authorities of the respective bank.

This year, UPSC prelims exam will be conducted on June 03, 2018. As per the official notification of UPSC, the UPSC prelims and main examination are conducted to fill 782 vacancies.
