The UPSC Civil Service Exams 2017 results have been declared by the Union Public Service Commission. The CSE 2017 exams were conducted last year. Candidates who appeared for the UPSC Civil Services 2017 exam can check the results on the official website now.
A total number of 990 candidates, out of which 750 are males and 240 are females, have been recommended by the UPSC to be appointed under various Services such as Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) etc.
This time, the UPSC Civil Services 2017 topper is Durishetty Anudeep from the Hyderabad region. Durishetty belongs to the OBC category and holds a B.Tech Electronics and Instrumentation degree from BITS Pilani. He has qualified the UPSC exam with Anthropology as his subject.
On the other hand, the female topper Anu Kumari has secured the second rank in the exam. She holds a B.Sc Physics (Hons.) degree from University of Delhi and an MBA Finance and Marketing degree from IMT Nagpur.

Among the top 25 candidates of UPSC CS 2017, 17 are men and 8 are women. These candidates mainly belong to the engineering, science, law, management and commerce backgrounds and have graduated from top institutes like IITs, NITs, DU, SPPU, NLU, ICAI etc.
The UPSC Prelims were held on 18th June 2017 in which more than 4.5 lakh candidates appeared. Out of these, around 13,000 candidates further qualified for the Civil Services Main Exam 2017 that was held between 28th October to 3rd November 2017. Finally, in the third stage, a total of 2,568 candidates appeared in the personality test round which was conducted in the month of February 2018.
