UPSC Civil Services Examination-2015 Result declared

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of one of the most prestigious government recruitment examination 'Civil Services Examination 2015' on May 10th, 2016.

The first position was secured by Tina Dabi (roll no 0256747), followed by Aamir Ul Shari Khan Akhtar (0058239) and Jasmeet Singh Sandhu (00105512) in second and third positions respectively. Most eye-catching news about the topper of this year is that Tina Dabi is only 22 years old and she has managed to achieve to this position just in her first attempt this year.

The final merit list was prepared based on the results of the written examination held in December 2015 and the interviews for Personality Test held in March-May, 2016.

According to the list of successful candidates published by the UPSC authority, a total of 1078 candidates (499 general candidates, 314 Other Backward Caste candidates, 176 Schedule Caste candidates and 89 Schedule Tribe candidates) has been recommended for appointment to Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
