UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2023 Prelims Exam Date: The Union Public Service Commission has released the examination schedule on the official website-upsc.gov.in. for the Combined Geo-Scientist Prelims Exam 2023. The test will be conducted on February 19, 2023 in two shifts, Morning shift will be held from 09.30 A.M. to 11.30 A.M and the Afternoon shift from 02.00 P.M. to 04.00 P.M. Test takers who will qualify for the prelims exam successfully have to appear for the Mains examination. The admit cards for the prelims exam will be available on the official website three weeks before the exam is conducted.

The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist 2023 Prelims exam will be held at various exam centers which include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Hyderabad, Prayagraj, Dispur, Patna, and others. The commission has released a total of 285 vacancies to recruit suitable candidates for various posts such as Geophysicist, Geologist, Chemist, and Scientist ‘B’ posts in various ministries and departments in the Central Government.
The selection process of the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Exam will consist of the following stages.
- Stage I: Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type)
- Stage II: Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination (Descriptive Type)
- Stage III: Personality Test/Interview.
