USPC ESE Prelims Exam Date 2023 – Check Shift Timings
As per the latest announcement, the Indian Engineering Services 2023 Preliminary Exam will be conducted in two shifts for a duration of 2 and 3 hours respectively. The UPSC ESE Prelims Exam Date 2023 and shift timings can be seen in the table mentioned below:

The UPSC Engineering Exam Date 2023 along with the shift timings and the reporting time are mentioned on the IES Prelims Admit Card 2023. Hall Tickets are advised to reach the venue at least an hour before the scheduled time to allow ample time for verification and checking on the day of the examination.
UPSC Engineering Services Prelims Exam Pattern 2023
As per the IES Prelims 2023 exam pattern, the paper will comprise a total of 500 questions containing 1 mark each. It will be a bilingual paper i.e. in English and Hindi. The UPSC Engineering Services Prelims 2023 Exam will be conducted online in CBT mode. Applicants must know that this examination is only qualifying in nature and the main marks will be counted only of the Mains examination.
