The Basic Education Board of Uttar Pradesh has finally released the much-awaited UPTET 2017 results. UPTET 2017 results are available on the official website. Over 5,00,000 candidates, who have been eagerly waiting for the results can check the same through the official website.

- Just type ‘UPTET’ on Google and the first link in the search results will direct you to the official website of UPTET.
- On the official website of UPTET, click on the link that indicates UPTET 2017 results.
- Enter the Roll Number to check the result.
According to the official data released by UP Basic Education Board, only 11.11% of candidates qualified UPTET 2017. At upper primary level, a total of 7.87% of candidates qualified the test, and 17.34% of candidates qualified the exam at primary level.
A total number of 41,888 aspirants were declared successful at the upper primary level and 47,975 candidates qualified the test at primary level. The scorecards and certificates of the UPTET 2017 examination will be available only after Allahabad's HC gives its decision regarding the writ petition filed.

UPTET score is mandatory to become eligible for the post of assistant teachers in government schools across the state. Qualifying in UPTET does not merely grant the job of an assistant teacher. UPTET is just an eligibility test and the candidates who have qualified it must undergo a selection process for the recruitment of assistant teachers. The details regarding the selection process will be issued soon.
According to sources, the UP Government is expected to issue a notification for the recruitment of 68,500 assistant teachers.
The results of UPTET 2017 were expected to be out on November 30, 2017, however, the results were postponed as the board failed to dispose objections raised on UPTET 2017 answer key on time. On the other hand, a few candidates have filed a petition in High Court against the mistakes in the answer key. The UP Basic Education Board agreed that the answers given for three questions were wrong.
