Witnessing a high usage of foul means in different examinations, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath announced that state has been cheating-free in the past two years. He further stated that at the launch of the “Cleanse the Education System of It Anolamies” campaign, the process of “cleansing” has been quite difficult.
In the words of CM Yogi Adityanath the complete cooperation from the teachers, students, Principals and parents along with the educational institutions as a whole, ensuring that the initiative was a success. He further added that when the initiative had been announced, almost 5 lakh students had missed out on the examinations. The UP CM also stated that they had conducted a probe, where they found that the main objective of the students had been to take admission through dishonest means.
As per sources, the statement of CM Yogi Adityanath had been made during the felicitation ceremony that had been held for the meritorious students at the Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Law University. An official statement announced that the ceremony saw the felicitation of 1,695 students who had been meritorious from different boards of education, viz. CBSE, ICSE or ISC Boards and UP Board.

He also urged the students to not go through education for the purposes of earning a degree, instead, they should work towards their all-round development. While talking to the students, CM Yogi Adityanath, announced that the Government had been undertaking different initiatives to ensure that the quality of the education system improves along with ensuring an improvement in the outcomes of the education provided.

Such initiatives by the Uttar Pradesh were to ensure the sanctity of the examination and to improve the overall quality of education in the state. It will ensure that students and applicants work hard to earn their aspirations and not just to earn a degree.
