Among all the states, Andhra Pradesh topped in terms of the number of students registering for VITEEE 2017 examination.

A total number of 2,23,081 students have registered for VITEEE 2017 examination. Compared to the previous year, the number of applicants for VITEEE 2017 examination has increased. Last year, a total number of 2,12,238 candidates took the VITEEE examination. The entrance examination is set to commence from April 5, 2017.

Among all the states, Andhra Pradesh topped in terms of the number of students registering for VITEEE 2017 examination. A total number of 34,068 students from Andhra Pradesh have registered for the examination out of which 25,011 are male candidates and 9,054 are female candidates. The new VIT campus that is going to come up in Amaravati is one of the reasons for more number of students registering for VITEEE 2017.

VIT University also received more applications for VITEEE 2017 from the following states: -

  • A total number of 23,360 students from Uttar Pradesh are going to appear for the examination.
  • A total number of 19,847 candidates from Telangana registered for the examination.
  • Maharashtra stood in the fourth place where a total number of 19,684 candidates have registered for VITEEE 2017.
  • A total number of 16,304 candidates from Rajasthan have registered for the test.
  • A total number of 16,173 registrations are from Tamil Nadu.

The varsity has also received the centre wise calculations. It is as follows: -

  • A total number of 16,856 students are going to appear for the examination from Hyderabad.
  • 15,709 candidates registered Delhi as the test centre.
  • A total number of 13,209 students have opted for Vijayawada as the test centre.
  • 8,877 candidates opted for Kota as the test centre.
  • A total number of 7,687 candidates registered for Chennai as the test centre.
  • 7,321 candidates opted for Patna as the test centre.
  • Vellore received registrations from 2,789 candidates.
