WBJEE Result Link 2023: The West Bengal Entrance Examination Board has released the WBJEE 2023 result today, May 26 at 2.30 pm. The official WBJEE 2023 result link to check marks is activated at @wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates can download their respective rank cards by visiting the WBJEE result link 2023 and entering their login credentials on the slots provided on the login page. Applicants can view the results through their preferred mode of login - with their application number and password or application number and date of birth.

WBJEE Result 2023: Tie-Breaking Rules

After the WBJEE 2023 results are declared, if it is observed that two or more applicants have obtained the same marks in the WBJEE 2023 examination, the authorities will implement the following tie-breaking rules to prepare a WBJEE 2023 merit list for the counseling round:

Candidates with fewer negative marks in all Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry combined will be considered for a higher rank.
If the tie persists, candidates who obtain more marks in Mathematics and Physics combined will be placed in the next position.
If the tie persists, candidates who obtain more marks in Mathematics and Chemistry combined will be placed in the third position.
If the tie persists, candidates who obtain fewer negative marks in Mathematics and Physics combined will be placed in the fourth position.
If the tie persists, candidates who obtain fewer negative marks in Mathematics and Chemistry combined will be placed in the fifth position.
If the tie does not break even after these attempts, then the candidate who attains more marks in 2 marks question in Mathematics will be prioritized, followed by the candidates who get more marks in 2 marks question in Physics, and then Chemistry.
If there is a tie even after these tries, then the candidate who attains fewer negative marks in 2 marks question in Mathematics will be prioritized, followed by the candidates who get more marks in 2 marks question in Physics, and then Chemistry.
Finally, after all these implementations, the applicant’s date of birth will be considered. Whichever candidate will be older than the other will be selected for admission.
