Mumbai and Bengaluru-based WeSchool campuses won the top honour as the 'Most Innovative Business School' at the two -day conclave of NHRD-HR. They won the honour for showcasing its flagship program - Global Citizen Leader (GCL).
A cash prize of INR one lakh and a trophy was received by Dean, WeSchool (Bengaluru) Prof. Dr Madhavi Lokhande, along with her teammates amongst huge cheer and applause.
The 5th National level 5th HR showcase expo held at the Palace grounds in Bengaluru. It honoured people from different segments like:
- HR Research Best Papers
- Corporate HR Best Practices
- Innovation in Business Schools Best Practices
- Best HR StartUp
- Corporate CSR Best Practices

The Global Citizen Leader program offered at Weschool is designed and delivered in association with Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), USA. It made its beginning in the year 2012. It is a full times unique programme offered to students as an epitome of learning by doing. Under this management programme a six -month program is offered to students in Live projects in the Social as well as Business impact zone.The main aim of the programme was to develop young leaders and also find out innovative solutions as to make a difference to the business and society.

Prof Dr Uday Salunkhe, Group Director, WeSchool congratulated the faculty and students on getting the honour. He said that with the amalgamation of technology and empathy and design thinking, with world-class faculty, result-centric teaching techniques and learning based on the experience they have always tried to develop an ecosystem to bring the futuristic global leaders to lead India and help it in its growth story.
