However, at the time of counselling, many state-level authorities convert these raw marks into percentiles for ease of ranking and to eliminate any multi-session differences thus faced by the students. The seat allocation happens based on the ranks allocated and thus, it is important to know NATA 2023 marks vs percentile to predict the percentile corresponding to your raw scores.
If your score is between 80 to 90 marks, your percentile is likely to vary between 9.54 to 17.54 approximately. This analysis is based on the previous year’s marks vs percentile data. As the percentile is heavily dependent on the marks of the topper and the number of qualified candidates, minor changes to this percentile range are expected. The qualifying marks for NATA are 70 marks out of 200 marks.

How is NATA 2023 percentile calculated?
The percentile score is not the same as the percentage score. The percentile score is calculated with respect to the raw score of the topper and the total number of candidates.
NATA percentile score = (100 * Number of candidates who scored less or equal to your raw score) ÷ (Total number of candidates who appeared for the session)
