KCET Second Extended Round Result 2023: Karnataka Examinations Authority was supposed to release the KCET second extended round seat allotment result 2023 on September 23. However, on the scheduled date, KEA disclosed that the deadline for option entry for the second extended round was extended to 5:00 pm. KEA did not give an update on the exact date for the announcement of the second extended results. Students were waiting till the night of September 23 for the seat allotment result but KEA failed to give an update either on the official website or through its official ‘X’ handle.
As KEA did not give an update on KCET second extended round result 2023 till September 24, it is expected that the allotment results can be expected after 8:00 PM on September 25. It is expected that the KEA will not delay the allotment further as many students are waiting to join the college. The academic session for first year students has already started in various engineering colleges across the state.

While the allotment result of KCET second extended counselling 2023 was delayed, many students expressed their frustration through social media platforms. Students who were following KEA on the ‘X’ social media platform sought an update from KEA on the exact date of the second extended round result. A student posted that ‘the least you can do is release a notification about results’. One student posted ‘Please give us an exact time when the results be declared to ease tension’. KEA is yet to post an official notification on the seat allotment date.

This year, KEA was subjected to criticism from parents and students for releasing seat allotment results after 10:00 PM. From the first round of KCET allotment to UG NEET allotments, most of the allotment results were released after 10:00 PM. Responding to the issue, KEA Director Ramya clarified that the software takes time to process seat allotment results due to the huge number of options filled by the candidates and the number of courses.
