The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) held the CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Physics exam today, on May 20, 2022. The exam was conducted from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. The students found the difficulty; level of term 2 Physics paper was moderate to tough. However, no question was out of syllabus. Moreover, there are a lot of questions, which were directly asked from the NCERT book. If the students thoroughly read the NCERT book for Physics, they can expect good marks in CBSE Class 12 Term 2 Physics paper.

Students got 15 minutes extra time to read the question paper before starting the Physics paper. During that time, the candidates were not allowed to write the answers.   

CBSE 12th Terms 2 Physics 2022 Paper Analysis

The Physics paper comprised a total of 35 questions. There were a total of 12 questions in all and those were compulsory to answer. Nevertheless, an internal choice option was provided to the candidates in one question of two marks and two questions of three marks. The paper was divided into three sections, Section A, Section B and Section C. 

  • Section A: 3 questions of 2 marks
  • Section B: 8 questions of 3 marks
  • Section C: One case study based question of 5 marks

CBSE 12th Terms 2 Physics 2022 Paper Analysis: Students Feedback

A mixed reaction has been found from the students who appeared for the Class 12 term 2 Physics exam. A group of students and teachers analyzed that the paper was moderated and balanced. 

Students have added that the numerical part of the paper was a bit difficult. Nonetheless, the study based section was easier than Term 1, rather directly asked from NCERT book. The candidates got enough time to review the paper. Only a very few students will get 100% marks in Physics. 

CBSE 12th Terms 2 Physics 2022 Paper Analysis: Teachers Feedback

Jitendra Yadav, Physics Teacher of MPVM Ganga Gurukulam School stated that the term 2 CBSE 12th Physics was well balanced. However, few of the theoretical based questions had elements of numerics, hence, the students had to calculate and then answer the questions. 

According to Neeraj Sharma, PGT Physics, Sarvodaya Co-ed Vidyalaya, term 2 Physics paper was easy, more of an application based paper. There were few conceptual based questions.
