Chandigarh University to Offer B.Tech Computer Science & Business System Engineering

Chandigarh University has decided to offer B.Tech in Computer Science & Business System in collaboration with one of the premier IT companies in India, TCS. The program will be of a total of 4 years duration through which the enrolled students will be provided education about advanced computer technology along with management science and humanities. The program curriculum has been completely designed by TCS who aims to educate students not only about IT but also management science and human values.

Throughout the four years duration of the program, the enrolled students will be provided with the knowledge of different subjects such as Analytics, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, etc. The main objective of the course is to prepare the students for IT industries at the end of the program.

The program has been approved by the AICTE which is also available in the drop-down engineering course nomenclature of AICTE. CU has signed an MoU with TCS through which TCS will be responsible to provide training to the faculty of the University for the new program, organise guest lectures and also engage with the University for the continuous assessment of the students.

Moreover, TCS will also provide internships to the selected students of the program. Through this, the students will be enrolled in different research projects in order to get exposure to real-world business problems.
