CMAT 2022 Exam Pattern Changed: Check Key Changes Here
New changes in the CMAT 2022 have been introduced this year. The question paper will be comprising Five sections having Twenty questions each. For details, read on.
The CMAT 2022 Exam Pattern has been revised for this year. According to the latest notification, NTA has revised the pattern to 100 questions having five sections each with twenty questions. The previous year's question papers had 25 questions from each section and 25 questions from optional sections whose marks were not added to the total calculation. That has been changed for 2022.
The new notification ensures that the earlier optional section Entrepreneurship and Innovation would be a mandatory section. The five sections thus would be Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Each section carries 20 questions and has four marks each. The total time available for the exam would be 180 minutes or three hours. The new pattern would not be having any sectional time limit.

Marking Scheme of CMAT 2022
There is no change in the marking scheme of CMAT 2022. The marking scheme has been left unaltered but the sectional marks have been changed.
- Every question will carry four marks.
- There will be negative marking for every wrong answer to the tune of one mark.
- No marks will be awarded for the unattempted questions.
- In case of technical error or wrong question marks will be awarded to every student.
