What is the CMAT Score?

The question paper of CMAT will be divided into four sections. Those who are applying for Innovation & Entrepreneurship need to attend an additional section. Each section will carry 25 questions. What is CMAT Percentile?
CMAT Percentile denotes the percentage of candidates who have scored less than the candidate in CMAT exam. The percentile of the candidate is calculated using his rank in the CMAT exam. The formula to calculate the CMAT percentile is provided below.
Percentile P = 100 x Number of candidates appeared in the examination with raw marks equal to or less than the candidate/Total number of candidates appeared
The percentile of the candidate can also be calculated using the formula provided below.
P = ( (N - your rank)/ N) x 100
Here N is the total number of test-takers appeared for the exam.

What is a Good Score in CMAT?
Candidates who are targeting the top MBA colleges such as Christ University Institute of Management, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida, KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar and IMT Nagpur should try to score at least 300 marks out of 400. They should note that the cutoff of CMAT will vary from college to college so they should check the previous years’ CMAT cutoff of that college to get an idea about what score they should obtain to get admission in that particular college.
