Flame University Signs Pact with Amherst College for Academics and Research
FLAME University and Amherst College in Massachusetts USA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership will facilitate academic and research collaboration as well as student, faculty and staff exchange between the two educational institutions.
A new international partnership has been formed between FLAME University and the Amherst College Massachusettes, USA. The two educational institutes have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, to promote academic and student collaboration as well as share best practices and undertake research projects too.
On the formation of the partnership, the Provost and Dean of Faculty at Amherst College, Catherine Epstein, wrote to the press. She stated that they look forward to building a relationship with FLAME University in the areas of Liberal Arts.
In the written letter, she stated that the partnership will facilitate in providing the opportunities to the students and faculty to collaboratively employ themselves in research and learning. In her letter, she added that students from both the educational institutions will be visiting the other campuses.

As per the partnership formed between FLAME University and Amherst College, exchange of faculty and students will be undertaken. The partnership has also been formed for the entire duration of 5 years. According to the partnership, students from Amherst College will be visiting FLAME University and spending one month while participating in the liberal arts courses at the University. Further, students from FLAME University will be visiting Amherst College for a duration anywhere between 1 month to a year. The students will be living with the students of the other educational institutions during the exchange, an official notification from FLAME University stated.

The notification further stated that the exchange programme has been designed for the students of the undergraduate programmes alone. The programme will include the exchange of students, faculty as well as staff members. Along with the exchange of students, the institutions will also be undertaking several collaborations in research, development of the curriculum, setting up experimental learning programmes along with pedagogical inventions and various conferences for overall academic development.
