FYJC: Minority Colleges Surrender Seats, Special Admission Drive on August 18
FYJC special online admission process will take place on August 18, 2018. Students can mark their preferences on August 13, 2018.
Over 32,000 FYJC applicants are expected to get admission in First-Year Junior Colleges as minority colleges started to surrender management and minority quota seats. The process of surrendering seats began on August 09, 2018. The admission process for these seats will take place on August 18, 2018, through special online admission round.
So far, the admission authority has conducted four rounds of the admission process for first-year junior colleges. However, many students who scored well in Class X are yet to get admission in colleges. Usually, management and minority quota seats are not a part of FYJC online admission process as per the order of Bombay High Court. The HC order has drastically reduced the overall seat count of FYJC online admission process.
