GUJCET Chemistry 2023: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board have scheduled the GUJCET 2023 exam on April 3, 2023. This refers that the candidates are left with approximately 10 days. This is very crucial to study wisely to get a good score on the GUJCET exam. As per the experts, there are a few tricks and strategies, that should be followed while preparing for the GUJCET Chemistry exam, so that they can score 35+ score in the paper. 

Chemistry is one of the scoring yet complex subjects of the GUJCET exam. However, there is a possibility of scoring good marks in this section, if the candidates follow some experts' guidance or strategy. The candidates should refer to the following section to get to know about the list of scoring chapters as well as the topics with the high weightage. It will help them to identify the topics names, which are the most repetitive ones in the past years’ GUJCET exam. 

GUJCET Chemistry 2023: List of Most Weightage Topics

  • Coordination Compounds
  • d- and f- Block elements
  • Solutions and Colligative Properties
  • Chemical Kinetics
  • Electrochemistry

  • General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Metals Metallurgy
  • Carbonyl Compounds- Aldehydes and Ketones

All of the above-discussed topics are scoring too. The candidates are expected to get direct questions on these topics. For the same, experts suggested that the candidates should thoroughly read the NCERT book. Candidates should not forget to revise the chapter-wise reactions and equations on a daily basis. In GUJCET 2023 Chemistry exam, the candidates will have to answer a total of 40 questions for 40 marks. Hence, each of the questions will carry one mark weightage. Nonetheless, for every incorrect answer, the candidates will get a deduction of 0.25 marks.
