JEE Main January 2021 has been delayed, as NTA did not issue any official notification so far. The official notification for the January 2021 exam of JEE Main is likely to be released in December. There were speculations that the first phase of JEE Main is expected to take place in February. However, there are certain chances that JEE Main January 2021 is expected to be delayed till the end of February or the first week of March if board exams of CBSE and other states are not scheduled in the same month.

Delay in JEE Main January 2021 will be beneficial to the aspirants considering the delay in academic session for 12th class due to Covid-19 pandemic. As the Class 12th syllabus has to be wrapped up by schools across the country, the candidates require additional time to concentrate on JEE Main exam preparation. Therefore, the delay will benefit the 2021 aspirants of JEE Main.

In addition, the aspirants can treat JEE Main January 2021 as a practice test to improve their preparation for the Phase 2 exam, which is scheduled in May.

JEE Main 2021 aspirants will have to be extra careful with the exam preparation, as most of the syllabus of CBSE or other boards for Class 12th were covered through online classes. It is advisable to spend at least 2 hours to prepare for JEE Main by practicing mock tests or revising the syllabus.

JEE Main January 2021 official notification will be released in December, and the registration process is expected to continue till January 2021.
