JEE Main Application Form 2026: The JEE Main 2026 registration process is divided into four steps that are i) JEE Main Registrations, ii) Filling out the JEE main application form 2025, iii) Document Uploading, and iv) Payment of the Form. It is mandatory for the JEE Main 2026 aspirants to fill the JEE Main 2026 application form within the stipulated deadline.

What's New in JEE Main Application Form Process?

The NTA introduced new changes to the JEE Main Application Process in the last couple of years. These are as follows - 

  • The JEE Main Registration Process has been simplified into three steps: Registration, Completion of the JEE Main Application Form and Payment of the JEE Main Application Fee.

  • Candidates must enter the OTP sent to their mobile number during registration and billing.

  • The JEE Main Exam Centres will be displayed according to the current and permanent addresses of the candidates enrolled.

  • Following the final submission of the JEE Main Application Form, candidates will receive a copy of the same at their email address. The JEE Main Registration Form can be obtained from DigiLocker.

JEE Main 2026 Application Form Correction Window

NTA conducts the JEE Main 2026 Application Correction process, allowing candidates to make edits to their application form through the website: jeemain.nta.nic.in. Applicants who complete and submit the JEE Main Application Form before the deadline are only permitted to make adjustments (if any) to the form. It must be noted that not all the sections of information provided in the form can be edited at the candidates’ end. Other than exam cities, JEE Main aspirants will be allowed to change some details like category, language, name, image, etc. The correction is open for a few sections only. Once the final correction is done, no further changes can be made to the application form. Only the candidates who complete the JEE Main Application Fee payment will be allowed to make the corrections.

JEE Main Application Form Correction Fee Charges

  • Candidates who have made changes in their category and opted for Paper II in addition to Paper I will have to pay additional charges.

  • Reserved category students will get relaxation in the additional application fee charges.

  • Applicants will have to deduct the already paid application fee from the fee that is to be paid now for paying the balance fee.

Candidates who are willing to appear for the JEE Main exam 2026 can apply for the JEE Main exam by following the steps provided below:

Step 1: JEE Main Registration Process

The first step to apply for the JEE Main exam is to register yourself on the official website. Check the first step to apply for the JEE Main exam below:

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main: jeemain.nta.nic.in.

  • Register yourself as a New User/New Candidate by clicking on the tab indicating 'New Registration'.

  • Next, you will be redirected to a detailed instruction page. Candidates are required to click on the 'Accept Terms & Conditions' button and save the page for future reference.

  • The link will take you to a new page where you need to enter all your details such as Name, DOB, Gender, Email address, Security questions & answers, Nationality, and Identification No. and Type etc.

  • The E-Challan forms will be available on the official website of SBI.

  • If the candidates are paying online then the amount must be paid first and then the printout must be taken.

  • Those who want to make the payment in offline mode will additionally have to follow the same steps as that of the online mode for getting the E-Challan, as the CBS system of SBI is merged with the MOPS system.

  • The JEE Main Application Form with the amount attached or mentioned in the form must be submitted at the nearest SBI branch within 12 hours of the E-Challan generation.

  • After the successful submission of the JEE Main Online Form, candidates are supposed to download the acknowledgement section and take a printout of it. The acknowledgement page is an essential document stating the details of the candidates and prescribing the completion of the JEE Main Application Process. The document must be kept safely for future reference in JEE Main Examination.
