IIM Vizag to Organise ‘Conflux 2017 – A Business Conclave’ on October 28

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Visakhapatnam is all set to organise ‘Conflux 2017’, a business conclave on October 28, 2017. The event will host renowned industry leaders for a discussion on Analytics. The venue for business conclave will be ‘Hotel Novotel’ located in the heart of the city.
The theme of the business conclave this year is ‘Analytics as a Source of Business Innovation’. The business conclave will lay major emphasis on contemporary nature of analytics. The main objective of ‘Conflux 2017’ is to create awareness among the industry personnel, future business leaders and student community about the changing trends in business with the help of Analytics.

Rupayan Ganguly, organiser of Conflux 2017, explained that the technology of data analytics has led to an exceptional change in competition among various companies and businesses. The technology has resulted in the optimisation of core or major operations of a company or organisation. The evolution of new business models is also one of the outcomes of technological advancement in data analytics. This development has helped the companies to make decisions based on evidence. Simply, efficiency in business organisations is possible through the advancement of technology in IT (Information Technology).

On the same day, IIM Bangalore is going to have its 44th Foundation Day Celebrations on a grand note. Former directors of IIM Bangalore will grace the occasion along with alumni of the premier management institute. Various events and programmes have been lined up for the celebrations. Japan Ambassador to India will be the Chief Guest for the celebrations.
