Pan IIT Conclave 2019: Global Thinkers Discuss Artificial Intelligence
This year the conclave also hosted the first Pan IIT AI Hackathon 2019 to promote AI and ML among the wider community of young software and AI professionals.The PanIIT Alumni India - representing alumnus of all India Institute of Technology (IITs) organised the conclave.
PanIIT Conclave 2019 which took place on 19th and 20th January 2019, at Indian Institute of Delhi, (IIT-D). The PanIIT Alumni India - representing alumnus of all India Institute of Technology (IITs) organised the conclave.
As a part of the PanIIT Conclave 2019, renowned educationists, leaders and industry experts came together to conduct a SWOT analysis on Artificial Intelligence, and its growth in the coming years and policies related to the same.
The inauguration of the PanIIT Conclave 2019 was inaugurated by Vijay Goel. He is the Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation. The recommendations made during the conclave will be actioned along academia, government, industry and startup partners by the PAN IIT AI forum in the coming months.

Chairman of PanIIT Conclave 2019, Arjun Malhotra said that in coming years India should be a leader in AI and 2019 conclave is a good platform that has various opportunities. According to him, AI and Machine learning will bring phenomenal changes in the social, political and economic changes in society. It will make great progress in education, defence, agricultural and healthcare sectors of the country, he hoped.
As a part of the Conclave, IIT alumni group is also organised the first PanIIT AI Hackathon 2019. The finals of the Hackathon took place on 19th January and 20th January 2019

The meet also had an exhibition area which was a great opportunity for exhibitors to interact with IIT alumni, educationists and heads of MNCs.The conclave was established in the year 2006.
