Presently Prof. Vishal is working on a research which attempts to cut down carbon dioxide radiation and their environmental impact by capturing the natural gases. This research aims at “geologic sequestration” or seizing the carbon dioxide that is liberated when coal is burnt (or created as a by-product in other industries) and then fixing it back into the rock deep underground so that it can’t be released back into the atmosphere.

Natural gases have been captured in the deep underground rock for several million years. This adds an analogy to store the greenhouse gases in rocks and avoid their deliverance into the atmosphere.
