JEE Main Question Paper 2 April 2026:As per initial student feedback, JEE Main April 2 Shift 2 was Moderate, with Physics being tougher than Shift 1. Mathematics remained lengthy, while Chemistry was Inorganic-heavy. The combination of IUPAC naming and isomerism made coordination compounds hard to name. Could not finish in 50 minutes; rushed the last three. GOC—inductive and resonance effects combined with stereochemistry—was really hard. It took a lot of knowledge to answer the SN1 vs. SN2 question. Check out Tanvi's review of the first shift exam. Limits included a standard L'Hôpital's Rule question, but it needs a lot of practice. Question about rules—it's normal but needs a lot of experience. To examine if something is differentiable at a place, you need to check if it is continuous and if the derivative exists. Matrices: the growth of the determinant took a long time. Math with whole numbers was easier than the MCQ part. Strategy: do integers first; it saved me at least ten minutes.
