MHT CET 2021 exam date is yet to be announced, and the State Common Entrance Test Cell is in the process of finalizing the online agency that will conduct the exam. However, the entrance exam is expected to be delayed till August due to the postponement of Class 12th exams in Maharashtra. If the 12th board exams of Maharashtra are set to take place in July & July, there will be no option for CET Cell except to delay the MHT CET 2021 till August. As the MHT CET is a computer-based exam, it has to be conducted in multiple slots for PCM and PCB.
In all probability, State Common Entrance Test Cell will confirm the MHT CET 2021 exam date only after the confirmation of revised Class 12th exam dates, and the application form will be released once there is clarity on the exam date. However, the exam authority has released the new syllabus for MHT CET 2021 in advance so that the aspirants can start preparing for the entrance accordingly. Students can exclude the topics that have been deleted from the Class 12th syllabus as a part of their preparation.
With the current Covid-19 situation in Maharashtra, it is uncertain whether NTA will go ahead with JEE Main April 2021 or not. As the number of cases has been increasing in the state, it may not be safe to hold the exam.
