Documents Required for MHT CET application form 2026

Candidates willing to fill out the MHT CET Application Form 2026 have to upload the following documents while filling out the MHCET online form 2026:

• Class 10 mark sheet
• Class 12 mark sheet
• Date of Birth Proof

MHT CET Image Uploading & Specifications 2026

For Uploading Photograph

• Recent coloured passport-sized photograph taken against a light/white background. The application form may get rejected in case the candidate's face in the photograph is unclear.

• The file size of the photograph should be between 15 KB to 50 KB in jpeg format.

• To reduce the size of the picture, applicants can crop their passport size image in MS Paint or in any other photo editor.

For Uploading Signature

• Applicants have to sign (no capital letters) with a black ink pen on white paper.

• Signature scanning should be in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings, and the file size must lie between 5 KB to 20 KB in jpeg format.

• To reduce the signature size, candidates may crop the signature image in MS Paint or in any other photo editor.

MHT CET Application Fee 2026 (Without Late Fees)

All candidates who register for the exam need to pay CET form fees. MHT CET form fees can be paid in online mode only and is compulsory for all. The CET fees for 2026 must be paid using a debit/credit card, mobile wallet, or net banking. Also, note that the application fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another applicant under any circumstances. Important Notes

• MHT-CET form fee is to be paid through online system only by Credit Card/Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets for which the service charges are applicable.

• On successful payment of the CET fees 2026, a confirmation of the same is displayed online.

• Applicants are then advised to take a printoutof the MHT CET fees 2026 receipt for future references and keep a printout of the MHT-CET Registration Confirmation Page safe.

MHT-CET Application Form Correction Window 2026

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will activate the MHT CET application correction window in March 2026. Candidates will require to visit the MHT CET official website to make the corrections in the filled MH CET registration details. MHT CET facility of allotment of Extra Time and/or Scribe

Students appearing for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) may be eligible for extra time and/or scribe facilities if they have a disability that affects their ability to write the exam. 

Eligibility:

• Students with disabilities as defined under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPWD Act, 2016) are eligible for these facilities.
• The competent authority will determine the specific disabilities and the corresponding support needed as per the RPWD Act, 2016.

Extra Time:

• Students who are eligible for a scribe are entitled to a minimum of 20 minutes of extra time per hour of the exam.
• Students who are not availing a scribe but require extra time due to their disability may be eligible for one hour of extra time per three hours of the exam, or a pro-rated amount for shorter exams.

Scribe: A scribe is a person who writes down the answers dictated by the student during the exam.

How to Apply:

Application Fees

There is no extra MHT CET form fees required to apply for a scribe or extra time.

Important Notes:

To receive extra time and/or a scribe during the MHT CET, you must provide the following documents:

• Disability certificate: This document, issued by a competent authority under the RPWD Act, 2016, should clearly state your disability and the recommended support needed during the exam.
• Proof of identity: This could be your Aadhar card, PAN card, voter ID, or any other government-issued photo identification document.

For Scribes:

• The person you choose as your scribe cannot be a candidate appearing for the HSC (12th Standard) exam in the same year.
• It's recommended that your scribe has not completed their HSC (12th Standard) education. However, this is not a strict requirement.

MHT CET Application Form Cancellation 2026

If a candidate wishes to cancel their MHT CET 2026 application, they will have to click on the Cancel Application tab in the form. The paid fees will not be refunded in case the candidate cancels his/ his application. Candidates should follow the steps mentioned below to cancel their MHT CET 2026 application form.

• Go to the MHT CET 2026 official website.
• Login using the required credentials.
• Click on the ‘Cancel Application’ tab.
• Enter the registered mobile number and the OTP sent to it.
• Provide the Cancellation Remark and click on the Proceed button.
