NID DAT 2022 Prelims (B.Des) Tie-Breaking Policy Revised: Result to be Out Soon
NID DAT Prelims 2022 tie-breaking policy has been revised, and the ranks shall be allocated as per the amended tie-breaking rules. NID DAT 2022 Prelims result expected anytime soon.
National Institute of Design (NID) revised the tie-breaking policy of NID DAT 2022 Prelims on April 28. The amendments to the prelims tie-breaking policy for B.Des have been published on the official handbook of B.Des admission. Candidates who had appeared for the Prelims exam of NID DAT 2022 must note that the result will be calculated as per the revised tie-breaking policy. As the clarification has been made on the new tie-breaking policy, the NID DAT 2022 Prelims result will be released anytime soon.
NID DAT 2022 Prelims Revised Tie-Breaking Policy
If the total marks secured by two or more candidates in NID DAT 2022 Prelims are the same, the tie will be resolved as per the following revised rules –
Tie-Breaking Policy Rule 1 | Higher rank will be assigned to candidates who had scored the highest marks in Part 2 of the DAT Prelims exam |
Tie-Breaking Policy Rule 2 | If the tie still persists after applying the above rule, a higher rank will be assigned to candidates who had scored the highest marks in Part 1 of the DAT Prelims exam |
Tie-Breaking Policy Rule 3 | If the tie still exists, both candidates will be allocated the same rank |
As per the third rule above, NID made sure that there would be no discrepancy in ranks as both candidates will be fairly allocated the same rank.
