SIHMCT, Vijayawada Organises Young Chef Competition
Students from Roots Institute of Hotel Management, Asian Institute of Hotel Management and others took part in the competitions
The management ofSiddhartha Institute of Hotel Management& Catering Technology (SIHMCT), Vijayawadaorganised a Young Chef competition for the students of catering technology onSeptember 21, 2016. The competition was held as a part of youth festival.
Students fromRoots Institute of Hotel Management,Asian Institute of Hotel Management and others took part in the competitions.Brijesh Thakur,Chief of DV Manor, Vijayawada judged the dishes prepared by the students. The students actively participated in the competition and prepared a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.

Prize Winners:-
- The students of Roots Institute of Hotel Management bagged the first prize
- Asian Institute of Hotel Management secured second prize
- Siddhartha Institute of Hotel Management bagged third prize

Chief Guest, Mr. Thakur presented the prizes to the winners and congratulated them. The students were also congratulated by College Principal, Mr. Chandrashekar and the members of Rotary Club. Various competitions are lined up as a part of youth festival where the students will showcase their culinary skills.
