Smart India Hackathon 2020: Ideas Submission By January 25
Smart India Hackathon is an innovative platform where the students can submit their ideas in context to solving certain problems humans face in daily lives. The last day to submit the ideas for problem statement is January 25 2020.
Smart India Hackathon, 2020 has been started and entries are being invited. SIH is an innovative platform where the students can submit their ideas in context to solving certain problems humans face in daily lives. All in all, the Smart India Hackathon is an event designed primarily to inculcate the culture of digital innovation and problem solving through smart ways.
For the Smart India Hackathon 2020, the students will be focusing on solving the problems majorly in the area of ministeries, PSUs, Industries, Departments and NGOs. Through the hackathon, the students will make an attempt to help some of the top organisations and industries in India solve their problems and help them hire some of the best minds from across the world.

- The Smart India Hackathon 2020 will be conducted in two editions: Hardware & Software editions. While the software edition will be conducted on 14th & 15th March, the hardware edition will be conducted from 6th July to 10th July 2020.

The SIH participating students must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria. The students must be from an AICTE/UGC/IIT/NIT/IISER/IIIT/ Government approved university. Only 7 teams per institute will be allowed which will include 5 teams for software edition and 2 for hardware. The teams should contain 6 members, including one female member and a team leader. All the team members should be from the same college.
Every institute will have to choose their Point of Contact (POC) whom the students will submit their ideas to before January 25, 2020. The appointed POCs must be registered on the official website and must submit their authorisation letter.
The winning prize is worth INR 100000/- for each problem statement.
