Students of Super 30 Win Aeroplane Model-Making Competition in Japan
The students from Super 30 proved their calibre as their plane flew and everyone took note of its trajectory.
Students of Super 30 kept the Indian flag aloft by winning an aeroplane model-making contest in Japan. These students were selected in the month of September through the ‘solve and win’ contest. They competed with 30 other groups across the globe and finally achieved success.
It was an aeroplane model-making competition, and the students needed to prepare a design with paper and ensure that it could fly. The one flying the fastest and for the longest duration was awarded. The students from Super 30 proved their calibre as their plane flew and everyone took note of its trajectory.

On the other hand, Nobel Laureate Hideki Shirakawa who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in the year 2000 took the students to his lab where he was currently working. It was his efforts there that led him to achieve international recognition. He showed and explained some of his experiments to students which included the passing of current through a bad conductor like plastic. Students raised various questions, and Hideki was quite impressed with the students' interest and inquisitiveness.

A total number of five students participated in the competition, namely:
- Sidhant Mohan
- Aditya Prakash
- Subham Raj
- Aman Nasima
- Ujjwal Priyanka
These students were awarded certificates after the results were announced.
Super 30 has become the talk of the state. Anand Kumar, Director of Super 30, expressed his happiness and appreciated them for bringing laurels not only to Super 30 but also to India. He expressed that to achieve success there are no half measures and one needs to have just passion. He quoted that “The clouds of adversity cannot prevent the sun of talent from rising”.
