University of Mysore to Conduct KSET for Another 3 Years
Announcement was made by UGC recently.
KSET which is the Karnataka State Eligibility Test will be conducted by the University of Mysore for another 3 years. This announcement was made by the University Grants Commission popularly known as UGC. This decision was taken by the UGC almost a week ago and this was finalised because the University has already been conducting the examination from the 3 years.

P Prakash who is the Additional Secretary at UGC said that the University of Mysore has been doing a great job at conducting the examination from the last 3 years. He also mentioned that the university has come a long way as when it started it only had 4 colleges under its umbrella and now it has more than 200 colleges, which is a huge achievement. He also said that the request to finalise this decision will be sent to UoM as soon as possible.

About University of Mysore:
The University of Mysore is situated in Karnataka and is a public state university. The University was established exactly 100 years ago i.e. in 1916 and was founded by Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV who was the Maharaja of Mysore. It is an autonomous university and was affiliated to UGC in the year 1956.
