UPTET 2022 Paper 1 has been conducted on January 23 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Paper 1 was conducted for candidates aspiring to secure eligibility as primary teachers. The question paper consisted of 150 questions with 30 questions each from Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Each question carried one mark, and there was no negative marking for the wrong attempt. Candidates clearing the UPTET 2021-22 cutoff shall be eligible for UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment Exam. UPTET 2022 Paper 1 Question Paper Analysis Highlights (First Reaction)
As per the student's reaction, the major highlights for UPTET 2022 Paper 1 question paper highlights are listed below:
- The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. There were not many tricky questions in the exam.
- The Mathematics paper was of easy to moderate level. Questions were asked from simplification, days in a week, triangles, etc.
- Some questions in Mathematics were repeated from last year.
- The CDP paper was very easy. There were more direct questions and fewer theory questions in CDP.
- EVS section was easy to moderate. There were some repeated questions in Environmental Studies including the National Anthem question.
- The language papers (Hindi & English) were also very easy. The passage was not lengthy. There were grammar-based questions in the language paper.
