The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CTET Admit Card 2026 on February 5, 2026, two days before the CTET 2026 exam, which is scheduled for February 7& 8, 2026. The CTET 2026 admit card is a mandatory document required to appear for the examination and contains important details such as the exam date, shift, reporting time, and CTET exam centre. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof on the exam day to the CTET Exam Centres, as mentioned in the official instructions.

As per CBSE guidelines, biometric attendance is mandatory for every candidate before entry into the examination hall. Candidates who fail to complete the biometric verification will not be permitted to appear for the exam, and their results may be cancelled.

• Students must register on the active link on the official webpage of the CTET exam. They can go through the steps to download the CTET admit card given below. Step 1: Visit the official website of the CTET exam

• Step 3: Enter the Registration number and Password (date of birth) to proceed
• Step 4: Submit the details to generate your admit card

The following are the important points that candidates must note regarding the CTET admit card 2026:

• Since the CTET hall ticket serves as a primary form of identification for candidates appearing for the CTET exam, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the allotted exam centre. The admit card contains crucial details which are essential for verification purposes at the examination centre, such as the candidate's name, photograph, signature, CTET roll number, etc. 
• The CTET admit card acts as proof that the candidate has successfully registered for the CTET exam and is eligible to appear for it; hence, candidates may not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the hall ticket.
