Slot Booking for VITEEE Postponed Due to COVID-19 Outbreak - Registrations Extended As Well

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has postponed the VITEEE 2020 slot booking process due to the coronavirus outbreak in India. VIT in its official website has announced that the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2020 slot booking process has been postponed for an indefinite period. Along with the VITEEE slot booking process 2020, VIT has also extended the VITEEE 2020 registration process which was scheduled to conclude on 22nd March. No hint regarding the dates has been provided by VIT.

In all probability, the VITEEE 2020 exam dates are also expected to be altered by the VIT officials. As of now, the VITEEE 2020 exam dates stand as it is, i.e between 13th April and 19th April 2020 but because the nation-wide 21-day lockdown ends on 14th April, the dates are most likely to be pushed a little further.

According to the official notice, the latest VITEEE 2020 schedule, including slot booking and registration schedule will be updated on the official website of VIT. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam or VITEEE is conducted every year for admission into B.Tech programme offered at VIT Bhopal, VIT Andhra Pradesh, VIT Chennai and VIT Vellore. The VITEEE paper comprises of a total of 125 MCQ-Type questions to assess the Aptitude, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics knowledge of the test-takers. Final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the offline counselling process.
