Sarala Birla University Overview
Sarala Birla University, which goes by its abbreviation SBU, is a private self-financed university that is located in the Birla Knowledge City in the village of Ara. the university is at a distance of about 10 kilometres from the main city of Ranchi in Jharkhand. Sarala Birla University was established by Gyan Mandir and Bharat Arogya through the Sarla Birla University Act of 2017 that was passed by the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly on 3rd February 2017. Situated amidst verdant surroundings and spread over an area of 60 acres, the Sarala Birla University has been introduced into the sector of higher education in the country so that it can set new benchmarks for quality education in several fields like professional, technical, general, medical education etc.
Sarala Birla University does not limit itself to the education sector but also endeavours to promote the study of social justice, secularism and democratic way of life, national integrity, international understanding and scientific approach to all the problems faced by the society in totality etc. the aim of Sarala Birla University is to become a global leader by creating an economy of knowledge where there would be an integration of industry and academia to nurture leaders who are connected closely to the roots and are enlightened, creative, and dynamic. Presently, Sarala Birla University, Ranchi runs four departments- Department of Commerce and Management, Department of Engineering and Technology, Department of Yoga and Naturopathy, and Department of Social Science and Humanities. Sarala Birla University has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Overall: This University has collaborations and cooperative ventures with foreign Institutions of Higher Learning, Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Indian Universities and Local Industries.
Placement: Placements are good enough , our seniors are placed at very good organisations.They are placed in their desired firm and job role .I hope i will also get my desired job.
Faculty: college has a well-experienced and highly qualified faculty. Many professors of the university are also graduates from the top-notch universities in the UK, US, and Germany and many are also Ph.D. holders.
Hostel: Each room has a bed for three children, a table and a wardrobe. There is no shortage of electrical appliances. The food provided by the hostel improves the health of the children
ReportOverall: Hello this is Adarsh Sinha from SARALA BIRLA UNIVERSITY RANCHI. I'm a 2nd year student from BCA course & had found the college for BCA The teachers are very good and always helpful
Placement: Placement in sarala Birla University is not so much but the internship is very good ie 100% . Company likes TCS , HCL, WIPRO comes here and take the students for campus
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is new top model and is very well maintained After every shifts the floor are cleaned . Hostel facilities is also available for students and mess is also there
Faculty: Sarala Birla University has best faculty . They are just awesome , they are very friendly and helpful to solve questions and doubts . The main reason to take addmission is the faculty
Hostel: Hostel for this college is good specially for girls child they had made the hostel inside the college campus only . The boys hostel is outside the campus.
ReportOverall: The overall facility of my collage is average not too bad I am glad to have hear overall professors are good and cordial and helps us to improve our knowledge.
Placement: Actually placement of my collage is not so good last year a student got 12 laks package and I know not more than 10% of students are placed the average salary of students are 4-5 lakhs
Infrastructure: Well as we know private universities and collage have great campus with all sports facilities and canteen facilities my collage is almost spread in 20 acres with huge campus
Faculty: Well faculty of sarla birla University are good they are very cordial with students helps us to do our best and they are Highly qualified and good professor
Hostel: The student who are in college gives us better review about sarla birla hostel they have both boys and girls hostel with proper facilities wifi , pure water and medical facilities
ReportOverall: The overall infrastructure is good ...teaching and class conduct needs an improvement.the time period for exams is not sufficient.the total time period for classes is not sufficient.
Placement: The placements for btech course is very poor...the companies hardly recruit students..it is good for the management courses . The average salary of the ones recruited is 4 to 5 lakh per annum.On campus placements need to be made better ...companies like tcs and Wipro usually come
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure is good but needs more modern ways like the introduction of biometric for students. Introduction of smart boards for enhanced virtual knowledgeable is required.
Faculty: The faculty are qualified for their respective courses but most of them lack good communication skills and explanations to make the classes interesting and student understandable.
Hostel: The hostel facilities are good . Everything is conducted in a disciplined manner be it time to morning and evening fooding.The mess and canteen food is very delicious all in a good hygiene.
ReportOverall: Sarala birla is very precise University good infrastructure with hi-tech lab with upgraded computer facilities.All teacher are well qualified with good teaching skills. I would like to rate 3 out of 10 for overall rating
Placement: No the placement is not too much high as per expectation.the placement ratio is 10:200 .No more big companies visit this institute only tcs visit last year
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good and big.A large big ground with multiple indoor as well as outdoor facilities.A big mess and canteen inside the campus area
Faculty: Faculty members and the quality of education they provide are commendable.some of the faculty are not much good but some the the faculties are excellent with the teaching skills
Hostel: Yes it provide hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Hostel fees are very high more than the semester fee with alot of restrictions for boys and girls .I suggest not to select hostel
