Sukanta Mahavidyalaya is a government-sponsored, NAAC-accredited higher education institution that began its operations on September 25, 1981. It is located in Sukanta Nagar, Jalpaiguri in West Bengal. Since 2006, the college has offered the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme, which is affiliated with the University of North Bengal. Presently, the course can accommodate 25 students (twenty-five). It is a three-year programme comprised of six semesters.

Sukanta Mahavidyalaya Online merit-based admission procedure for Part-I of B.A./B.Sc. for the Session 2023: 

Admission to all courses in U.G. Part-I begins after one week following the release of high school results. Admission is granted only on the basis of merit, measured by high school or comparable examination achievement. As per Government regulations, SCs/STs/OBC (OBC-A & OBC-B) candidates are eligible for constitutional reservation advantages. In accordance with the order – No.908-Edn(CS)/10M-95/14, dated:11.11.2014 of the Higher Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal, admissions to Undergraduate (Honours and General) programmes in State-aided higher education institutions in West Bengal (with the exception of institutions recognised as minority institutions) shall be through an online-merit-based admission system beginning with the 2021-22 academic year.

 The applicant must visit the college's website to get information on admission. The Procedure of Admission, dates of applicants' registration, publication of merit lists, and the date of admission will be posted periodically; therefore, applicants must visit the college website periodically to prevent missing any dates.

Sukanta Mahavidyalaya application process: 

• College applications must be submitted through the official website of a standardised examination.
• Self-registration is required, and the applicant will get a new application number and password.
• Use the provided application number and password to log in.

• The last phase of the application procedure is the submission of money.
