Eighteen popular universities from Haryana have decided to collaborate and share each other’s resources as well as experience with a motive to benefit and grow together. A common website for all these 18 universities is also one of the initiatives that will be rolled out soon which will enable the teaching community and students to find easy access to the information pertaining to courses, admissions and so on.

Recently, Vice Chancellors of all the 18 universities gathered at a meeting and took the decision regarding this academic collaboration. All these universities will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) soon. The meeting was hosted by CUH (Central University of Haryana) where representatives from universities made presentations on facilities and resources offered by these varsities. The idea to promote academic collaboration and sharing resources received a positive response from all the members who were present at the meeting.
Addressing the gathering at the meeting, Vice Chancellor of CUH, Professor R. C. Kuhad expressed that the quality of higher education could be improved by promoting academic collaboration and sharing resources. All universities of Haryana will also come up with a common website/ portal to offer better services to the students, he added.

The following are some of the universities across Haryana that will be a part of academic collaboration: -
- Northcap University
- MDU Rohtak
- Chaudhary Devi Lal University
- O P Jindal Global University
- Jagannath University
- Central University of Haryana
The MoU between 18 universities of Haryana is expected to benefit teachers and students of state universities, as students from any varsity can utilize the best facility available in the other university.
