With an aim to ensure student-friendly services, the Higher Education Department of Kerala is coming up with an online portal where services of all universities will be provided online. The website will have admission notifications of various universities, important dates of admission, entrance test dates, news & events of universities and orders & circulars issued by varsities from time to time.
At the same time, the common portal will help students in obtaining mark lists, provisional certificates, college transfer certificate, migration certificate and other related documents in a hassle-free manner. Students can apply for these certificates through the common website, and obtain the same without much difficulty.
The Department of Higher Education is also planning to prepare online question banks and online question papers for the fair conduct of university exams.
The Higher Education Department is aiming to implement an online question paper system for university exams so that there would be no chances for the paper leak. The idea is to make question papers available online just 30 minutes before the exam. Principals of various colleges can download the question papers only after receiving an OTP (One Time Password) from the department. The department is also taking steps to avoid the wrong distribution of question papers.
