Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences (SHIATS), Allahabadinvites applications for admission to their following Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs for the academic year 2016.

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
• Bachelor of Arts (B.A)
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
• Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed)
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
• Master of Science (M.Sc)
• Master of Technology (M.Tech)
• Master of Computer of Application (MCA)
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Master of Commerce (M.Com)
• Master of Arts (M.A)
• Master of Education (M.Ed) programs.

Who can Apply:

• For B.Ed Program: Candidates with at least 50% marks in the bachelor's/ master's degree with at least two school subjects at the graduation level are eligible for admission.
• For B.P.Ed Program: Candidate should have completed BPE with 50% marks or bachelors degree with physical education as an elective subject with 45% marks and participation in national/ all-India inter-university/ inter-university competition.
• For M.Ed Program: Candidate should have B.Ed degree with at least 55% marks.
• For other UG Programs:
• Candidates should have passed in 10+2 with at least 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/ differently abled candidates as per their qualifying examination are eligible for admission to undergraduate programs (except B.Sc. Home Science).
• The candidates appearing in 10+2 examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply provisionally for admission and appear in the entrance test.
• For other PG Programs:
• Candidates having obtained their bachelor's degree in the final examination in the concerned field under 10+2+4 or 10+2+3 as per their qualifying examination are eligible for admission to PG programs.
• The candidates appearing in bachelor's degree examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply provisionally for admission and appear in the entrance test.

How to Apply:

• Candidates can apply online.
• The prospectus and application form can be obtained by sending a crossed bank draft for Rs. 450 in favour of the Registrar, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Allahabad by registered post.
• The prospectus and application forms will also be available on cash payment of Rs. 400 from the university fee counter on any working day, i.e., from Monday to Friday (09:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m.).

Who will be Selected:

• All admissions in the University shall be made strictly on merit as determined on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Entrance Test/ Direct Interview, conducted by the SHIATS.

• Last date for receiving draft and photograph for online applicants: Wednesday, May 25, 2016.
• Date of entrance test: Monday, June 06, 2016.
• Date of entrance test for B.Ed, & M. Ed. Program: Monday, June 06, 2016.
