Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will be conducting the AEEE (Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering ) 2016, which is a national level Engineering entrance examination that would offer admissions to candidates in the institute's four year B.Tech Degree programme. The degree programmes are offered at three campuses of the university, namely, Bengaluru, Amritapuri (Kollam) and Ettimadai (Coimbatore).
Candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria are further counselled, and depending on the their respective ranks in the Entrance Examination, these deserving candidates are enrolled in the first year of these 4 year B.Tech. programmes.
The candidates who meet the following requirements of the eligibility criteria will be able to apply for the AEEE 2016 entrance exam:
The candidates applying for the exam must have completed Class 12 from a recognized board/institution with an aggregate of 60 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The exam will be conducted in both the modes: CBT (computer based test) and pencil/paper based test. There will be total 120 questions in the entrance test. The question type is multiple choice questions and 4 options are provided, out of which only one is correct/appropriate. The time duration of AEEE 2016 entrance test will be 3 hours. The question paper contains 35 questions from Physics, 35 from Chemistry and 50 from Mathematics.

The OMR application form will be issued on November 2
The last date for issuing OMR application form is March 19, 2016
The final date for receiving completed applications (OMR & Online) is March 21, 2016
AEEE 2016 Computer Based Test will be from April 17-19, 2016
AEEE 2016 Pen and Paper Based Test will be on April 23, 2016
