AIIMS B.Sc and M.Sc Entrance Exam 2018 Registrations Open

Premier medical institute of the country All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for admission into BSc (Honours) course for the academic year starting 2018.

Courses Offered for AIIMS BSc (Honours) Course:

• BSc (Honours) Nursing
• Bachelor of Optometry
• BSc (Honours) Para-Medical courses
• BSc (Honours) Medical Technology in Radiography courses

Section Procedure for AIIMS BSc (Honours) Course:

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. The entrance test will be conducted in the English language only. Entrance test for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing for all AIIMS will be conducted in the following cities - Patna, Raipur, Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Chennai, Dehradun, Kolkata. On the other hand, the entrance test for Bachelor in Optometry / B.Sc. (H) Medical Technology in Radiography courses will be conducted in Delhi only.

Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS BSc (Honours) Course:

• For appearing in the exam, candidates must clear class 12th under 10+2 pattern from a recognised board or university with Chemistry, Physics, Biology, as well as English as main subjects.
• Those candidates applying for BSc (Honours) Para-Medical courses must clear class 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English, Mathematics and Biology as main subjects.
• Those candidates appearing in the 12th class examination under 10+2 system in the month of March/April 2018 and their results are expected to be declared before 30th June 2018 are also eligible to apply for courses.

Age Criteria for AIIMS BSc (Honours) Course:

Aspiring candidates must be Indian citizens and must be at least 17 years of age.

Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS M.Sc and M.Biotechnology:

The candidate must posses one of the following qualifications and have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination:

• MBBS/BDS (55% for Gen/OBC & 50% for SC/ST Categories)
• B.V.Sc.
• B. Pharmacy
• Bachelor of Physio-therapy (4½ year course)
• B.Sc. degree of minimum three years duration in any subject.
