AILET Counselling 2026The AILET Counselling 2026 invites for category-wise eligible candidates will be sent out today, i.e., December 19, 2025, till 6 PM onwards. Students will receive their counselling invites for registration via email or SMS to their registered contact details. The counselling registration will be conducted from December 19, 2025, 6 PM to December 27, 2025, 11 AM. The counselling registration will soon be followed by the announcement of the first list of provisionally shortlisted candidates on January 8, 2026. Students will be invited for counselling participation based on the AILET 2026 merit list, and approximately three times the number of candidates will be allowed to participate, corresponding to the number of seats available in each student category.

The NLU Delhi is offering a total of 120 seats through the AILET counselling 2026 for B.A. LL.B Hons. program. According to its seat reservation policy, a 5% horizontal reservation is provided to the PwD candidates across all student categories in the counselling. Seats will be offered to the OBC candidate under the 22% reservation quota, while the SC and ST categories will enjoy 15% and 7.5% seat reservation in the AILET Counselling 2026. A total of 10% seats will be reserved for the EWS category students.

The mode of fee payment for the AILET Counselling 2026 registration is online. Students can use either of the following methods to complete their registration fee payment: Credit, Debit Card, Net-banking, or UPI.

AILET Counselling 2026 Shortlisting Process
The AILET Counselling 2026 shortlisting process is conducted based on the merit list and exam results. Three candidates will be selected to compete for each available seat in all the respective student categories.

The online registration fee for AILET Counselling 2026 is Rs. 30,000/- for the General category students, and Rs. 20,000/- for the SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category students.

According to the official NLU Delhi notification, the last date to apply for the AILET Counselling 2026 Registration is December 27, 2025, till 11:00 AM. The registration link will be available today from 6:00 PM onwards.
