Three alumni members of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) supported the restoration of the institute by donating Rs. 7.5 crore on July 5, 2017. Mr. Raghunandan, G. Vishwavir Ahuja and Aprameya made their significant contribution towards the restoration of one of India’s top business schools.
IIM Ahmedabad is in the process of upgrading its campus as well as taking steps for the conservation of campus. The institute had already raised Rs. 22.5 crore for the same and the contribution by these three alumni will help in restoring the infrastructure further.
Director of IIM Ahmedabad, Mr. Ashish Nanda revealed that supporting the infrastructure improvement and restoring the campus would help in upgrading the quality of education. Alumni of the institute have been playing a crucial role in supporting the institute financially.

Mr. Vishwavir Ahuja, a PGP student of IIM Ahmedabad of the batch of 1981 expressed his happiness on being associated with the institute in the restoration process. Currently, Mr. Ahuja is MD and CEO of RBL Bank. He further pointed that RBL Bank developed systematically during the initial stages due to significant contributions made by the alumni of IIM Ahmedabad. He contributed Rs. 2.5 crore for the restoration process, and assured continued support for the development of the institute.

Co-Founders of Taxi for Sure, Mr. Aprameya & Mr. Raghunandan contributed for the upgradation of CR2 at IMDC in IIM-A new campus. They were proud to fund the institute and indicated that IIM Ahmedabad was highly responsible for the success in their respective careers.
Alumni from various parts of the globe are coming forward to fund the institute for the restoration process.
