Andhra University Signs MoU with TCS to Digitalise School of Distance Education
Through this agreement, the School of Distance Education will be completely digitalized and the varsity is also planning to implement the same mechanism for regular courses too.

Andhra University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Consultancy Services to render all the academic services relating to School of Distance Education (SDE) in online mode. Through this MoU, the entire academic related services starting from admission process to the declaration of results will be made in an online mode.

Currently, around 60,000 students are pursuing various Post Graduate (PG), professional, certificate and diploma courses through School of Distance Education. Earlier, the varsity had computerized the admissions and examination process through FoxPro database and stand-alone operating system. However, these are not amendable for web-based and online technology as it is not robust in maintaining the security.
