The Andhra Pradesh released the fee structure of B.Tech/ M.Tech/ B.Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy courses. The new fee structure will come into effect from the academic year 2016-2017. Earlier the Andhra Pradesh Government hiked Engineering fee and released the fee structure in the last week of May. According to the previous hike, the course fee for B.Tech was Rs. 55,000 – 65,000/ annum. According to the new hike, the course fee for B.Tech course if ranging between Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 95,000/ annum.
The course fee for B.Pharmacy has been hiked to Rs. 70,000/ annum. Previously, it was only Rs.40, 000. The course fee for M.Tech and M.Pharmacy has been hiked to Rs. 1, 50,000/ annum. There has been a steep hike in the course fee this year. Students and parents expressed their disappointment over the new fee structure and opined that the higher education has become a costly affair year by year.
The Government has finally started allotting engineering seats to the candidates who have qualified in AP EAMCET. The classes for the first year B.Tech will commence from 1-July-2016. Initially the academic year for the first year students have to be commenced on 27-June-2016 and it has been postponed as the government delayed in the releasing of new fee structure.
